· Take ownership of an existing dSPACE / Matlab / Simulink vehicle and battery control system, and develop it to interface new motors and battery. · Fluent English speaker · Masters degree in software, or controls or automotive engineering · Experience using CAN calibration tools and CAN database maintenance
· Excellent understanding of automotive electrical interfaces
· Set up and enforce VCU SW development processes, record systems and develop design documents and customer facing materials
· Experience of rapid-prototype software development with minimal formal specification · Experience of automotive traction batteries and switchgear control, battery charging and AC & DC charging standards preferred · Indentify system safety implications to achieve a safe design The role will be primarily based in Shanghai, China but will also include trips to the UK, where much of the vehicle work is undertaken. 公司简介 · Understanding of vehicle ancillary components (DC/DC, A/C, Heating) · Produce technical documentation in English to communicate effectively with a UK based team. · Experience working with high power electric & hybrid powertrains

The Vehicle Control System Engineer will own and lead the development of the vehicle control systems to support the upgrade program of the company’s flagship demonstrator vehicle. The incumbent will be a proactive self-starter with experience working on prototype vehicles as big part of a small team, and be familiar with model based development and HIL testing techniques.
