今年的GDC（游戏开发者大会）将于2018年3月19-23日在美国旧金山举行，变态雷霆之怒网页游戏，会议期间一年一度的IGF（Independent Game Festival Awards）独立游戏大奖颁奖典礼也将同期举行，以嘉奖过去一年世界范围内涌现出的优秀独立游戏。

这一奖项用以纪念IGF的创立者之一的开发者Seumas McNally Grand Prize。
